Cassandra (one last time)


Now that the dust (and sand) from the Newtown event has thoroughly settled, it seems necessary to tie up a few loose ends surrounding the whole affair--namely, the strange resonance with Olivia Newton-John and her films.

Olivia Newton-John starred in Xanadu, where Alph the sacred riverrun. Olivia is the Promethean Fire stolen from the Olympian gods (quite literally, as she is the daughter of Zeus), used to create the terrestrial roller disco--the work of the Great Magician when he traps Spirit in his own dark creation, which must in turn be duplicated by the Magician for the redemption of things.


But the lower Xanadu (Jerusalem) is only a dim shadow of the true Xanadu (the New Town--the Garden from which we are exiled).

"The biggest climax in The Dark Knight Rises is Batman's decision to sacrifice himself and fly the neutron bomb out to explode at a safe distance . . ."



Xanadu is a pseudo-remake of Rita Hayworth's Down to Earth. Rita the atomic girl vs. Olivia Neutron Bomb. The Muse who fell to earth. Fade away and radiate.


Into the Underworld


Philip K. Dick suggested we were living in the era of the Book of Acts, circa 47-62 AD. I suggest adding 1900 years to see the allegory. Olivia Newtown John as Sandy in Grease, circa 1959. The images in movies are more real than our reality; they distill it like whiskey, as the Wizard says. Real time stops in 70 or 1970 with the destruction of the Temple. The Hells Angels at Altamont end the sixties.

Evidently John Travolta is another Hell's Angel (one of Alvin Boyd Kuhn's Satanic hosts). Significant because in Toomorrow Olivia Newton-John gets abducted by aliens (read: Watcher-Archons) who need to study her music to heal their dying race. (Dark City, anyone?)





John Tra-volta is Jupiter the demiourgos with the Lightning car on the Mercy Pillar, fighting the Wrath car on the Severity pillar. He gets 'em both by winning. He thought he had to change, but Olivia becomes a Bad Girl at the end. Travolta successfully imitates the work of God/Satan the Great Magician and steals the fire of the gods. The Wheel gets the Grease; the Biker Boy as Magician grinds the Universal Substance down on his mill ("he's good bad, but he's not evil").

Paul Foster Case elucidates that The Magician (1) + The Emperor (4) = The Hierophant (5); that is, both cards are implied. The Pope, as the Ruler of Chaos and Empire, waits there to receive the influx of supernal light; but in so doing, he will seal his own doom--the Blasted Tower is the House of False Doctrine that is overthrown.


Ke$ha with the Right Eye = Spirit descending into Matter, the downward cross (creation of the universe)--her voice is full of money. This is the World-Spirit descending into the Underworld (the downward pointing triangles); Persephone consorting with the lords of Hades (greaser boys on the Wheel)--blondes can be treacherous. Pentacles are matter impregnated by spirit. Eternal wheel of sex and death. 


Xanadu is Atlantis, suspended in time. Olivia greases the Wheel of Ke$ha's cash as it flows around the hub, forever.

All of these themes are illustrated in the film Virginia. Blonde and brunette roles are reversed (Nancy Drew on the Page): The First Isis (Jennifer Connelly, the Virgin of Light and Fire) as the Spirit of Nature is consorting with Ed Harris the Demiurge (cf. The Truman Show, etc.); she has greased his Ferrous Wheel with her light as it spins around.

Emet the wandering golem must tear the ear off of the Image of Ed Harris (Malchus the hearer of the High Priest) before he may hear Emma Roberts. They have the same lips. Black fire on white fire.

In Pistis Sophia, the Virgin Mary is described by Jesus as ‘the likeness of the Virgin of Light’ ... John the Baptist (the first Adam) is born of a barren woman and has his head removed (ego death); Jesus (the second Adam) is born of the Heavenly Virgin. "I am the child of Earth and starry Heaven, but of Heaven is my birth."




John was begotten by the World through a woman, Elizabeth; and Christ was begotten by the world through a virgin, Mary. What is (the meaning of) this mystery? John was begotten by means of a womb worn with age, but Christ passed through a virgin's womb. When she had conceived, she gave birth to the Savior. Furthermore, she was found to be a virgin again. Sirius?

That is, it is the human Hero-Messiah's heritage and identification with the Heavenly Virgin of Light that marks him as a divine figure, and not otherwise. I.e., Nancy Drew (Emma Roberts) is of the nature and substance of the Virgin Mary before she falls from the Light-Treasury into Hellywood, there to redeem she who drowned in the water at the beginning of things.

Emma Roberts, the Second Isis as the Perfected Daughter, is attained only after the Son converts to Mormonism--i.e. she is the Inner Church attained only after passing through the gateway of the Outer.









  









Herein is the whole thrust of the Kabbalah, wherein the Wrathful Father-God, Ed Harris, will enforce the Law on behalf of his beautiful Daughter, who is all Grace and Purity.


The Mask of God

To reverse Entropy, the original theft is reversed--she stages a bank robbery (i.e., steals back the shards of holiness--the "shoplifting" scenario). The ape mask is suggestive. The Son, meanwhile, duplicates this effort in stealing from the carnival Wheel itself; the only way to end the Empire is to deprive it of its motive power (the Salt, Sulphur and Mercuty that spin around the ROTA).



"We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth," but this is a phantom pregnancy as Virginia can only give birth to herself. Freke and Gandy provide one of the best explanations in Jesus and the Lost Goddess:
We appear to be an evolving psyche-body on a journey of awakening, but our essential nature is ineffable Consciousness. Knowing our essential nature is the realization of Gnosis, because as Consciousness we already exist permanently in the state of Gnosis. Whilst we identify with the psyche-body, however, we experience only relative states of ignorance.

Plato describes these two states as 'being' and 'becoming'. Consciousness is being. We experience this as the sense of I AM. It is unchanging, qualityless presence. It is what we are. Psyche, on the other hand, is what we experience. It is an unfolding succession of changing appearances. It is impermanence. It is perpetually in the process of becoming something else. The Mystery as Consciousness is being what it is. Consciousness witnesses itself as a psyche-body in the process of becoming, aware of what it is. We are being witnessing becoming.

Another name for the 'becoming' is 'time'. Pagan and Christian Gnostics call time 'a moving image of eternity'. Time is the Mystery striving to imagine a perfect self-image. Time is the journey from ignorance to Gnosis. Time is imperfection longing to be the Good and progressively improving. Time is the relative reaching towards the Absolute. Time is the gradual reconciliation of the two poles of the primal syzygy. . . .

The ancients conceived of the turning wheel of the zodiac as the 'wheel of suffering' or 'wheel of necessity'' or 'wheel of fate' . . . The process of initiation was designed to free initiates from the wheel by revealing their essential identity at the still centre. Proclus teaches that those initiated into the Mysteries of Persephone and Dionysus 'pray that they may cease from the wheel'.
The first Isis (JC) moves forward on the Wheel of time, pregnant with possibilities (and this is, in part, a necessary deception, as it allows her to steal some sparks of light trapped by the Demiurge); but that which she gives birth to is really and truly herself: the second Isis (Emma Roberts) pre-existent and eternal at the Omega Point


This has been a recurrent theme. In Grease Rizzo (the dark-haired World-Mother) also goes through a phantom pregnancy.

Cease from the Wheel


The dynamic potentiality of space is called Shechinah. It is said that the Shechinah is like a pregnant woman who is continually gestating, giving birth, and nourishing her children. Divine space is called ‘mother’ because it shares its lifeblood with its progeny like a womb. The ‘children’ are the endless reflections that arise and dissolve from its mirror-like nature. The Shechinah’s womb has no borders or boundaries. It represents the whole of space beyond the concept of containment and what is contained. Nothing enters or leaves mother space, because whatever is born is equal in nature to the space it arises within. The Shechinah continually nourishes her children by virtue of that nature, which is B’reshit. The life that is given, the children that are born, and the womb itself are all equal in the heart of Divine essential nature. . . .

Faith is the great challenge to all conventional assumptions about the solidity of substance. The display of tzimtzum presents itself with ferocious intensity, but faith in the intangible wisdom play of the Shechinah nullifies the idea that anything fractures the unity of perfect space. Cultivating gnosis of the nature of phenomena builds certainty that the world is not a random series of objects for a subject to react to. This requires resistance to the most deep-set and most stubborn of our habits. Belief in a shattered universe only leads to suffering and alienation How could it do otherwise? Its only products are existential isolation and alienation. Gnosis grows proportionately with the rejection of these assumptions. . . .

The remedy to either imbalance is to remember the central heart space of the Shechinah. This is symbolized by the heh of the name Elohim: the central nucleus where both right and left tendencies commingle." (David Chaim Smith, The Kabbalistic Mirror of Genesis)

Oscar Pi Story: Death Comes for the Blonde (PSY-chotic Phenomena)

The Path of the Razor's Edge is difficult. Marilyn Monroe's death prefigures that of the wounded King of Camelot; she is the solar Light that is swallowed by Nuit. These girls have been "fired" by the torturous movements of the Flaming Sword. The Red Hook is Tzaddi the Emperor in the Tarot (if we accept Crowley's emendation), the Red Man from Mars who shoots you down in Blondie's rapture prophecy. (The Demiurge is working overtime to hold reality together, as Saturn devours his children.) A James Holmes (we must remember that Philip K. Dick's Demiurge was "James-James") is in your home (the Garden of Xanadu), guarding the sanctuary and gunning down the sleepers in the Cave of the movie theater, entranced by shadows on the body of Nuit.
But "this influence passeth over into Microprosopus;" now one of the qabalistical axioms given by Pistorius is: "Paradise is the sephirotic tree. In the midst thereof the great Adam is Tiphereth." (See Introduction.) Therefore the influence passing over into Microprosopus is also the serpent entering into the garden of Eden. (The Kabbalah Unveiled)
We are first exiled from the Garden State of Ignorance when we come to understand the paucity of our own Light.


At the gate of the Duat


And Marilyn may die, but Jackie O[mega] already stands at the end, ready to gather together the brains of the slain King Osiris. The Dahlia is slain in 1947, meaning that the End actually precedes the Beginning; or, rather, the Omega Point is already conceived in the Mind as it initially gazes into the Dark Reflection:
Thus, the name, Ein Sof, is not at all The Necessary One Himself, but pertains to all the worlds and all the souls being included in Him, in the Thought of Creation, by way of “The end of an act is in the preliminary thought.” Thus, Ein Sof is the name of the connection that the whole of Creation is connected in, until the end of correction.

This is what we name “the First State of the souls” . . . since all the souls exist in Him, filled with all the pleasure and the gentleness, at the final Height they will actually receive at the end of correction. . . .

Thus, there is not a single, tiny item, generated in this world, that does not extend from Ein Sof, from the first state of the souls. And from Ein Sof, it extends to the world of Atzilut, meaning specifically associated to the thing actually being generated in this world. And from the world of Atzilut, the generation extends to the three worlds BYA, where the generation appears in actual fact, where it stops being Godliness and becomes a creature, and to Yetzira and Assiya, until it extends to the lower one in this world. Omega Point is a term coined by the French Jesuit Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (1881–1955) to describe a maximum level of complexity and consciousness towards which he believed the universe was evolving. . . . the universe is constantly developing towards higher levels of material complexity and consciousness, a theory of evolution that Teilhard called the Law of Complexity/Consciousness. For Teilhard, the universe can only move in the direction of more complexity and consciousness if it is being drawn by a supreme point of complexity and consciousness.

Thus Teilhard postulates the Omega Point as this supreme point of complexity and consciousness, which in his view is the actual cause for the universe to grow in complexity and consciousness. In other words, the Omega Point exists as supremely complex and conscious, transcendent and independent of the evolving universe.

Teilhard argued that the Omega Point resembles the Christian Logos, namely Christ, who draws all things into himself, who in the words of the Nicene Creed, is "God from God", "Light from Light", "True God from true God," and "through him all things were made." ("Omega Point")
Yet the Apocalypse is eternally forestalled by the sorcery of time. The New World looks a lot like the Old one. Time instead devours itself back to its starting point.



When the inferior man descendeth (into this world), like unto the supernal form (in himself), there are found two spirits. (So that) man is formed from two sides--from the right and from the left. . . . With respect unto the right side he had NShMThA QDIShA, Neschamotha Qadisha, the holy intelligences; with respect unto the left side, NPSh ChIH, Nephesh Chiah, the animal soul. Knowledge and Conversation

What is the (difference) between the Ancient One and Microprosopus? . . . His spirit rusheth forth upon Microprosopus, and they call it the Giver. . . . The Spirit descendeth; . . . One is the Spirit; She goeth forth unto Microprosopus, so that he may be aroused in the Garden of Eden. And one is She the Spirit of Life, through Whom in process of time the sons of David hope to know Wisdom. And from that gallery ariseth the Spirit, and proceedeth from the concealed brain, and at length resteth upon King Messiach. Like as it is written, Isaiah xi. 2: "And the Spirit of Tetragrammaton shall rest upon him, the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and Might, the Spirit of Knowledge, and of the Fear of Tetragrammaton." . . . She is called the Spirit of Life, and through that Spirit will all men understand ChKMThA, Chokmatha, Wisdom, in the time of King Messiah. (The Kabbalah Unveiled)


Spirit cloaks itself in various forms as it descends further and further into matter, which is why the Gnostic Christ is said to change his form as he descends. Betty & Veronica is a Gnostic-Kabbalistic allegory for Chokmah (Yod) and Binah-Malkuth (Binah, the Heh, is black in the three lower worlds, but red in Atziluth) in which Archie (Zeir Anpin, the Vav) is ultimately excluded; or, rather, his function is to unite the two.

Note that these are the two forms of Christ as he exists above and below the abyss; i.e. the Cosmic Christ (= Betty) is of the nature of Kether and the Macroprosopus. The human Christ (= Archie) is of the nature of Tiphareth and Microprosopus. 
[I]n the Qabalah we find that the Ancient of Days conforms Himself simultaneously into the Father and the Mother, and thus begets the Son. Now, this Mother is Elohim. . . . the word RVCh, Ruach, Spirit, is feminine, as appears from the following passage of the Sepher Yetzirah: . . . "One is She the Spirit of the Elohim of Life." . . . Now, each of these Sephiroth will be in a certain degree androgynous, for it will be feminine or receptive with regard to the Sephira which immediately precedes it in the sephirotic scale, and masculine or transmissive with regard to the Sephira which immediately follows it. But there is no Sephira anterior to Kether, nor is there a Sephira which succeeds Malkuth. By these remarks it will be understood how Chokmah is a feminine noun, though marking a masculine Sephira. The connecting-link of the Sephiroth is the Ruach, spirit, from Mezla, the hidden influence. (The Kabbalah Unveiled)


Archie is Zeir Anpin centered in Tiphareth. Betty & Veronica are positioned as Chokmah and Binah. Jughead the King sleeps below Yesod in Malkuth (the footstool of Betty) with Geburah (red) and Chesed (white) emblazoned on his Crown. The fourfold division of the cover represents the Four Worlds (Atziluth, Beri'ah, Yetzirah, Assiah).

Binah is black(-haired) in the lower worlds, but reveals red in Atziluth (= Cheryl Blossom). Betty's legs of fire hint at Chokmah's traditionally masculine attribution, despite its being a feminine noun (the Wisdom of the Book of Proverbs). Veronica's light and dark stripes are the pillars of Mercy and Severity that arise within her sphere of becoming (as seen in MirrorMask)--in which case Veronica becomes Betty's reflection within the dark mirror of material existence.

Papa Ratzi

The Mother's varied passions are bound in Archie the Quantum Observer's dream-chamber (the Dark Reflection). These are, so to speak, all merely the delusions that arise upon the surface of Veronica's Veil:
Irenaeus also shows that the Gnostics claimed the woman who suffered from an issue of blood to be their own Sophia who was healed by Horus the Christ. They related that Sophia had made an impracticable and impossible attempt to create, but brought forth a substance that was amorphous and imbecile, such as her female nature [sic] was capable of producing; that is, the flesh-making substance which needed the male to impress and imprint it with form. She was flowing away, 'flowing into immensity,' and in danger of perishing, when the Christ dwelling on high took pity on her, and having extended himself through and beyond Stauros (the boundary fence of the pleroma) he imparted a figure to her, but merely as respected substance, and not so as to convey intelligence. By Horus she was purified and established. This woman with the issue of blood they said was their twelfth aeon, and this number was represented by the twelve years. . . . In the apocryphal gospels the woman who had the issue of blood is identified as Veronica, she who received the likeness of the Lord pictured on a napkin or kerchief, which is still on view in Rome. Veronica, as Vera-iconica, indicates the true likeness, but the Gnostics, who were the authors of the Christian icons, knew better. The Christ imparted a figure to her, but not a living likeness, and this corpse-like portrait has been preserved by the Italian and Spanish painters. (Gerald Massey)
Helen of Troy's reflected image is unveiled within the Darkness, but the portrait is in external form only, and is thus lifeless. Cosmos is Son of God, and the moving image of the imperishable Aeon. The Solar Son, Adam, is made in the image of Anthropos, but slays his children in an act of rebellion against his mother.

So, again, Betty is of the nature of the Cosmic Christ (Arich Anpin, the Macroprosopus) above the Abyss, imparting Form to her counterpart, while Archie (Zeir Anpin, the Microprosopus) exists as the human Christ below the Abyss. This will become important soon.


Jughead Jones (having made a false crown below the Abyss), the man of sarx, eagerly devours the things of the flesh (i.e., hamburgers), but the things of the Spirit are mysteries unknown to him (1 Corinthians 2:14). It is the very simplicity of the characters, reduced to the barest of archie-types, that reveals them as part of a hieroglyphic alphabet (symbols of certain eternal realities).



Abba and Imma (the Celestial Father and Mother) are mates, who alternately engage in "face to face" relations or turn their backs upon one another. The state of their relatedness, which is at least in part dependent upon the worship and ethical deeds of humankind, has a major impact on the flow of divine energy throughout all the worlds. All of which is why Betty's (Abba's) "face to face" relationship with Veronica (Imma) is necessary for the restoration and repair of the worlds. This is the subject of the next post . . .
