reborn this way

The influence of the path descends upon the earth, Malkuth, the daughter. Here again appears the doctrine of “setting the daughter upon the throne of the Mother”. In the card itself there is consequently a glyph of the completion of the Great Work in its highest sense, exactly as the Atu of the Fool symbolizes its beginning. The Fool is the negative issuing into manifestation; the Universe is that manifestation, its purpose accomplished, ready to return. (Aleister Crowley)

Queen Elizabeth II visited Ireland immediately before Barack Obama, as if to indicate that her own regeneration would precede that of the King. All of this was happening around the prophesied date of the Rapture, when the King of Kings was said to return. And while the King and Queen are regenerated through the union of Will and Kate, our Royal Hermaphrodite Lady Gaga is, appropriately, Born This Way.

Alas, Charlie Brown will never have the Little Red Haired Girl because She is contrary to his nature.

"On G.O.A.T., a Government Owned Alien Territory in space, a birth of magnificent and magical proportions took place. But the birth was not finite."

The opening images of Lady Gaga in the video for “Born This Way” contextualize her within the distinct aesthetic of Queen Elizabeth I.... In her “Born This Way” video, Lady Gaga also asserts her legitimacy as the symbolic progenitor – the divine mother and overseer of her people, who constitute a “new race within the race of humanity” through the fundamentality of her womanhood. AGDISTIS was a hermaphroditic creature born of Gaia (Earth) when she was accidentally impregnated by the sleeping sky-god Zeus. The gods feared the strange twy-gendered creature and castrated it. It was then Kybele, the great Phrygian goddess.

But if (he says) the Mother of the Gods emasculate Attis—she, too, regarding him as the object of her love—it is the Blessed Nature Above of the supercosmic and æonian [spaces] which calls back the masculine power of Soul to herself.... For Man, he says, is male-female.... Attis (he says) is emasculated—that is, [Soul is separated] from the earthy parts of the creation [tending] downwards, and ascends in quest of the Æonian Essence Above—where (he says) is “neither male nor female,” but a new creature, a new man, who is male-female....

The Phrygians call Him also Dead—when buried in the body as though in a tomb or sepulchre. This (he says) is what is said: “Ye are whited sepulchres, filled (he says) within with bones of the dead, for Man, the Living [One] is not in you.” And again He says: “The dead shall leap forth from their graves”—that is, from their earthy bodies, regenerated spiritual, not fleshly. This (he says) is the Resurrection which takes place through the Gate of the Heavens, through which all those who do not pass (he says) remain Dead. (Naassene Document)

The earliest cult images of Dionysus show a mature male, bearded and robed. He holds a fennel staff, tipped with a pine-cone and known as a thyrsus. Later images show him as a beardless, sensuous, naked or half-naked youth: the literature describes him as womanly or "man-womanish". In its fully developed form, his central cult imagery shows his triumphant, disorderly arrival or return, as if from some place beyond the borders of the known and civilized.

As we reach the World card, the cycle begun by the Fool is completed. A dancer clothed only in a scarf dances with in a wreath.... The semi-clad dancer seems female, but it is claimed that it is in fact hermaphrodite, having characteristics of both sexes and thus reconciling all opposites.

coniunctio oppositorum: where the flesh meets the spirit world

In like manner also the three days which were before the luminaries, are types of the Trinity [Τριάδος], of God, and His Word, and His wisdom. And the fourth is the type of man, who needs light, that so there may be God, the Word, wisdom, man. (Theophilus of Antioch)

On another level, the Assumption epitomizes the reconciliation of the material and spiritual world, as the human Mary enters "body and soul to heavenly glory." Carl Jung, the transpersonal psychologist, concluded that the doctrine of the Assumption reflected an acceptance [= glorification] of the physical world. A similar thought was expressed by the Russian Orthodox theologian Sergius Bulgakov, who described Mary as "the creature glorified and deified. In her is realized the idea of Divine Wisdom in the creation of the world; she is Divine Wisdom in the created world."

it's confusing these days
